do you guys (well er my girl friends) find it offensive if someone calls you “gay” instead of “lesbian”?

my friend said that it sounds offensive when you call a girl “gay” because “gay” is usually associated with guys. personally I prefer the word “gay” over “lesbian” (idk why) but I could see where she’s coming from, seeing as “lesbian” would not be used as a unisexual term but “gay” is (or can be used that way).

idk I just wanna know what you guys think about it. so do you care weather people call you “gay” or “lesbian”?
